Our latest list is close to the heart of Simon Finch Rare Books and, now, Voewood Rare Books. We take the view that (subject to certain limits) most of what has been printed or written is fair game for the book dealer and the collector. The counterculture issues a challenge to existing norms. Sometimes that challenge works, sometimes it doesn't. But the counterculture serves as a useful irritant and society has to respond even if it refuses to accept the challenge. You will no doubt find this list irritating, challenging or even offensive but we don't think you'll find it dull.
