A wide ranging look at the visual arts. Books by and about artists from the good but unfashionable (such as John Lavery) to the fashionable but not so good (such as ....). Many are signed (Henry Moore, Frank Stella, Oldenburg, Hirst, Jasper Johns and Lichtenstein). There is an original drawing by Kate Greenaway and, at the other end of the spectrum, a limited edition work by the reliably controversial Allen Jones. Among the books on architecture is a very good collection containing original sketches by the Japanese minimalist Tadao Ando. The Czech contribution to twentieth century design is still, sadly, little known and somewhat underrated. We attempt to redress the balance with three books, one of which, typoreklama is particularly rare. As well as all this, we have items on High Church tat, tatting (not the same things at all) guns, gardens, fashion and Malleable Maidens. We hope you enjoy the list. All the items can be purchased here on our website or by contacting us direct (firstname.lastname@example.org). We are always happy to answer any questions.
