The Holy Bible, containing the Old Testament and the New
HOLY BIBLE

London: Printed by Robert Barker and the Assigns of John Bill. 1634.
New Testament dated 1636 on title page but 1634 in the colophon. 4to in 8s. pp. [16], 1-904. [60ff, Concordance]. Lacking the Genealogies. Early eighteenth century calf, rebacked with red morocco label, lettered in gilt. Slight rubbing to edges and corners. Title page of New Testament is torn to outer edge and top and bottom right corners and has been repaired. Leaf A4 (The Translators to the Reader) has a repaired tear with loss of text and a tear to the corner of Q1 with loss of text. But overall a nice copy.
Throughout the book are ownership and genealogical inscriptions for the Kates or Keats (both spellings are used) family. These mostly date to the eighteenth century.
