All edges marbled and marbled endpapers. Some light shelfwear but overall a stunning binding in near fine condition. Engraved frontispiece portrait of Shakespeare. Volume 1 includes an introductory Preface and biography with an Appendix, Shakespeare's Will, Preliminary Matter on the 1623 Folio and Commendatory Verses. Each play has annotations.
