The Other
The Other is Voewood's collection of the marginal, the transgressive and the esoteric - material that sits outside the conventional canon yet has shaped it from the edges. Encompassing anarchism and radical politics, counter-culture, curiosa and erotica, drug culture, folklore and mysticism, the occult and psychedelia, queer literature, sideshow and carnival ephemera, transgressive fiction, true crime and the underground press and zine tradition, this department reflects a longstanding commitment to the overlooked, the suppressed and the deliberately obscure in print culture.
