The Baker Street Journal is the leading publication for essays and stories about Sherlock Holmes. It is known scholarly and serious literary and historical research and writing and for "playing the game" (shorthand for treating Holmes and Watson as real historical figures). Founded in 1946, this complete set from the journals first two years is uncommon and even more so in such good order.
