This is a general survey of the art world in 1930 with essays and images covering Persian painting, British Sporting Artists, The Van Gogh Exhibition at Amsterdam and The Modern French School. Six colour reproductions and one fine engraving by H.G. Webb of James Pryde's The Mean Street. Black and white reproductions illustrate the book profusely. A very nice copy in fine condition.
